Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) is an Indian government ministry. The ministry is responsible for planning, promoting, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of environmental and forestry programmes in the country. The main activities undertaken by the ministry include conservation and survey of the flora of India and fauna of India, forests and other wilderness areas; prevention and control of pollution; afforestation, and land degradation mitigation.

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) is a society which provides accreditation recognition of the technical competence of a testing or calibration medical laboratory for a specific task following ISO/IEC 17025:2005, ISO 15189:2012 Standards. It is associated with Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA), International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
